A “cookie” is a small text file that is placed on your computer hard drive or mobile device by this website. There are several types of cookie and the most common are often referred to as ‘session’ cookies. These are used to keep track of information needed by users as they travel from page to page within a website (e.g., session status, language preferences, font size, etc.). These cookies have a short lifetime and expire within a few minutes of the user leaving the site or logging out. Another type of cookies, is stored in user’s device for a longer time, which is specified in cookie parameter files or until cookies are deleted by the user. In many cases, default settings in browsers allow storing cookies in your devices. You can delete cookies or block them in your browser’s settings. NOTE: Some pages will not work properly if cookies are blocked or deleted.
